2012 Porsche Cayenne GTS
The latest iteration of the Porsche Cayenne GTS – a sportier take on the Cayenne – will debut at the Beijing Motor Show. Porsche feels it’s time to roll out the GTS treatment for the latest version of the Cayenne, so pencil-in the Beijing Motor Show later this month for the debut of the 2012 Porsche Cayenne GTS. The GTS version of a Porsche usually bows in after the range has had a year or two to bed in and offers a sportier, harder-edged version of the standard Porsche offering; fitting in the range between the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo.
From May this year Volvo will update its V40 model, equipping the premium Swedish hatchback with its range of high-efficiency Drive-E engines and Volvo’s latest eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means the revised V40 line-up now offers an impressive performance to efficiency ratio, with 190hp on offer in the D4 turbodiesel variant, returning a claimed 74.3mpg combined with 99g/km CO2 when mated to the six-speed manual. Update 4/7/2011: No, we don’t know what happened to Jeremy’s McLaren MP4-12C piece either. The BBC told us it was on, but instead we got James May and the Aston Martin Virage. Not that there’s anything wrong with May and an Aston, but we had our juices going for the McLaren.
